I subscribed to the beta of let’s encryptĀ because I truly do think we need to have an easy way to generate and keep updated ssl certification for any usage not only e-commerce.

As you can see in your browser, the certificate for this website is now generated by let’s encrypt.

This certification is only valid 90 days as explained on their website, I still need to find a way to automate the renewal using cronjob etc … since for now the standalone version needs me to disable Nginx the time to do the renewal. I’ll surely write a script for this and share it here.
